Giuliani finishes best among the top three. His takedown of Ron Paul stood out as the best moment of Giuliani's campaign so far. He's first on Hannity. He had to have loved McCain and Romney going after each other, with no one really taking any big shots at him. Good day for Rudy, he'll get a boost from this. I still don't think he can win, but tonight was a good night.
Tonight was a microcosm of Rudy's campaign: a lot of hemming and hawing and blundering about, abortion questions that just won't go away, but a moment of real clarity on the war that makes conservatives consider him all over again.
Huckabee may have propelled himself into the top tier. Great line on John Edwards. Now we'll have to see if his poll numbers or fundraising take a jump. I hope they do, Mike Huckabee would be a tremendous nominee, if he could just get some traction.
